Ok I think this is the last post, just in time for the holidays… I’ve been trying to sort of sum up some of our travel and new experiences with the new company and now that that’s done I thought it couldn’t hurt to give a quick update on our actual games and other related projects…

Our first ever partner project Night in the Woods is doing great. There’s a long way to go before the 2016 release, but the expo demo and Longest Night side-story have been charming the pants off legions of fans since last December. There is a lot of game left to build though, so don’t be surprised if NITW goes dark for a little while. Oh, and keep your eyes peeled for a big announcement later this week… walks down the sidewalk whistling nonchalantly

Panoramical creator and lead dev Fernando Ramallo has been making a ton of progress lately. I just played the newest build with the keyboard+mouse controls and it continues to be a transcendent experience. We’re doing some gamepad control experiments this month, and you can expect to see and hear a lot more about the game early next year.

image Most of my time this year has been dedicated to building Overland, easily the most ambitious game we’ve attempted to build since we started doing this indie thing back in 2008. After a lot of prototyping and exploratory development we are finally locking things down and rolling over into production mode, targeting a Q2 2015 release. Like Panoramical, expect to see and hear a lot more about this project starting early next year! BUT THAT’S NOT ALL In addition to those major projects above, we’ve been keeping busy with a few other things too. I don’t think I’m quite ready to share all the details about these projects here, but suffice it to say 2015 will be a very interesting year :)
