May 1 2017 - For immediate release - Michigan-based game maker Finji is proud to welcome PR & marketing expert Chris Dwyer to their team, increasing the core studio staff from 2 people… to 3 people. Finji promises to wield their newfound power with grace and a certain shall we say elan, as long as everyone cowers appropriately before their might. Our arcane strength is threatening to overwhelm us even now. We will remake the world in our glorious image!! Etc and so on.

Anyways we’ve been collaborating with Chris for over a year now, and it’s been a true pleasure to find someone who believes in our weird mission and who believes in us, and is willing and able to help us to do things that would have been impossible for us otherwise. We’re literally only two people! Or were, anyways. It’s lucky to find exactly the qualities we look for in game designers in someone who can help us with our business too.

Finji can keep growing in the weird little ways we’ve always wanted now. Of course, Rebekah and Adam have enjoyed very much being the public face of Finji for the last few years, and you’ll continue to see us out and about! But we hope that you all will give Chris the same patience and attention you gave us when he’s the one explaining with breathless excitement how our new game works, or who our new collaborators are, or how much he loves our new composer.

And when Chris is inevitably blackmailed by a superhacker into betraying us and stealing a nuclear submarine, we’ll say what we always say in this situation: we never turn our backs on family.
