Overland Patch Notes - Build 142 / 143

  • fixed known crashes
  • new player profile wireframe
  • online shop for real actual shirts!!
  • fixed lame auto-click issue with dragging dead bodies
  • pick up items with auto-clicks or from the contextual actions flyouts now
  • players can heal themselves w auto-click now
  • scooted the vehicle panel out of the way until we get the cool new thing in for that

  • INVITE needs to be higher-priority in the verb list (compared to MURDER)

  • no more “barricades” wild card
  • some utilities for improving level gen
  • fixed up some of our color-matching code to be more accurate
  • CPR / Revive has animation now
  • vehicles won’t appear at the far detour distances anymore
  • vehicles only have upgrades / mods at dedicated vehicle locations
  • sometimes there’s a lame “choice” on the map screen where both options are the same
  • loading a game into the campfire / map scene will fail to play the survivors chill campfire idles :(

  • walk out and drive out can’t be default verbs anymore
  • cleaned up some throw code
  • hopefully cleaned up a LateUpdate() crash - got several automated reports but wasn’t able to reproduce
  • throwing items that were in your inventory at the level start will no longer softlock the whole Fing game
  • fixed busted spawns in no-monster wild cards
  • completely new survivors no bigs
  • default actions won’t apply to selectable survivors anymore
  • fixed a nasty bug w executing auto-swaps on action with backpacks

  • optimized the campfire map a bit
  • fixed some save/load issues w the new character system!!

  • i think the latest update might not run on Windows at all, mainly because of wwise bugs. on it first thing tuesday!
  • fixed a bunch of weird things happening from A) untrimmed strings and B) bad URL redirects
  • title reminds about update even though it’s up to date already!
  • using actual JSON parser now
  • automated crash reports should actually work again jfc
  • wwise fails to load the DLL on some windows 8 machines?
  • game over detection is COMPLETELY BROKEN
  • fixed a player location spawn issue in out of gas levels
  • fuel labels are messed up from the unity upgrade
  • sometimes exploding cars still do double damage i think…
